Make your own, get the 1 1/4 outside and ream out 1/4 inch deep 1 inch hole with Dremel tool attachments. Make a lot of my own butt caps that way. Get those with the hole already drilled through use as starting point then plug the open end when you glue on to end of the rod.

Chad,
I would use 1 1/2 inch burled cork rings and turn the cap on your lathe.

Another option that works very well is to use a rubber chair leg tip.

If you have a lathe, turn down the tip on your lathe.

If not, take a pice of 1/2 inch stock, bolt or similar. Then, use masking tape to build up the od of the bolt or shafting material to make a solid fit on the inside of the rubber chair leg tip.

Use 40 grit sand paper, and glue it down to a solid surface. Then, use the drill with the spinning cap on the end of the drill to shape the rubber tip. Just hold the spinning piece of rubber against the coarse sand paper to creast the necessary tip.

To trim the length of the tip, clamp a razor knife blade in a vise. Then, bring the spinning tip down against the secure razor knife and cleanly cut the tip. When you do this, angle the cut inward a bit, so that when the grip is slipped in place, there will be no lune visible between the cap and the rod grip.

Not sure about sizes, but look at the Pac Bay catalog.

The PacBay CC25-CcHD might work for you, it has the dimensions you want.
