Led can lights on a dimmer in 3000k color scale. 1 4" can light for every 2' of bench. Is My professional opinion. (Full time electrician, part time wrapper) My lights are as follows I have 3 4" cans in a false bottom of upper cabinets above my bench about 8" off the wall. And 4 ,6" cans in the ceiling at 26" off the wall. During the day I wrap with them all on and at night or when it's dark out I mainly wrap with the 3 above my bench. You will never be in a shadow and the quality of light is better then the incondecent lamps. And when you need more light turn up the dimmer. Good light is worth the investment.
