Dan Craft Sig V 905 - 4 tip top?

Hi all,

I need to replace the tip top on my Dan Craft Sig V 905 - 4 and don't know what size to order, I'm still currently using the rod and will be up until the replacement arrives so hoping someone will have the answer.

There are a couple generations of that blank, call Dan he can supply a tip top.. Haven't talked to him in a few years, at the time he was working mornings at his real job, afternoons after 3 pm PDST was best.

they are measured in 1/64 th inch the tube and ring use a caliper and you can order the tip top be it a wire looped top or a ceramic insert

wait, what????? you can order a tip section? i broke my Sig V 8'-3" 4piece 3/4 weight years ago....! i loved that rod!!!!! i'm going to have to contact dan and see what he says. i thought he had told me not available years ago.

Maybe not Eric.
My Sig IV 9 ft.,5 piece, 5 wt. couldn't be fixed.He has had a few generations of rods, sometime with years before re-introduction, made by different manufacturers, so you could be like me with no replacement. Replaced it with a Sig V, 9 1/2 ft. 6 wt. which have very similar power and action.
