St. Croix makes a 7 ft. 1 in. MHXF in lots of graphites, just extend the butt one inch if it's a deal breaker. Re: Searching for a blank

Mudhole has exactly what you are looking for its called their MHX Elite Pro series. The model is an EPS86MHXF which is Med Hvy Xxtra fast at only 2 oz. I have done several builds on this series and my customers are extremely satisfied.

7'2"??? Why limit yourself,? There are a ton of 7' blanks that fit your needs. Check Batson's lineup. Add 2" to the butt if you have to have that length. Re: Searching for a blank

I have built at least 8 using this Mudhole blank and you won't be disappointed. My customers and myself build it a a spinning rod and use it for senko fishing. Great casting distance, feel and strength to get the big bass out of hydrilla & eel grass. Re: Searching for a blank
