I'd like to build a matched set of casting rods using the Fuji SK2 reel seat and Winn Grips.

Unfortunately, I've not been able to find properly sized grips in basic black. M.H., A.W. and G.B.O. have grips made for the SK2 but either are the wrong color or don't seem to come in a 3.5-4" rear grip.

Does any one:

1. Know of a source of a properly sized casting rear grip?

2. Or had experience shaping a larger diameter Winn Grip to a SK2 seat?

The best Winn grip that I have found that fits the SK2 casting reel seats are the MHX Winn grips they are the right length and diameter, but are not basic black. The Fuji SK2 Winn grips are too short and the diameter too small. If you like a split reel seat you may want to substitute the PacBay minima casting seat for the SK2 seat. All of the other Winn casting grips will fit the Minima seat so you have a larger selection to chose from, plus it's a real nice reel seat, and all of the SK2 parts fit it.

Unfortunately the SK2 casting rear grip Get Bit Outdoors carries is only 2.5". If only it were an inch longer!
