Someone gave me a Rod blank,Seat and Both butt and foregrip that his Deceased Brother was going to build only ID I have is a Sticker on the blank its a 6' 6" med action Blank. Sticker says AMSP 661 M No other info
if anyone can help with basic info Re: Help ID a Blank!

Amtak lists a AMSP blank but its 5.5' 4 # test UL not this Blank Re: Help ID a Blank!

It may also be a CRB (Mudhole) blank. I have a few of these blanks that are several years old and some of them have a sticker on the butt end with "AMSP701-L", "AMSP701-M" and "AMSP601-L" on them. I would assume 6"6" medium. Rog Re: Help ID a Blank!

I believe amsp is American tackle Matrix blank spinning...pretty sure it is a discontinued matrix blank that Jenns used to sell...would also explain why it's not listed in current catAlog.

Does it haven a woven graphite pattern in the butt section of the rod? If it does it is an American Tackle Matrix blank. The discontinued ones were green. They are nice blanks.
