I just got some blanks and have noticed two things. One the blank changes color near the bottom of the blank but it will show after I get the rod done. The other thing is bubbles in the factory finish on the top 1/4 of the blank. These were not cheap blanks. They are Musky/Saltwater jigging blanks. What are your thoughts on this? Ever see it before? Haven't seen it and as they are not cheap blanks, I would say you didn't pay for that either. Contact your manufacturer, I am sure they will make it right. Re: Bubbles in factory finish on my blanks

Less paint was sprayed near the butt area as they knew it would be covered. However, bubbles in the rest of the finish certainly weren't part of the plan. Give them a call and see what they have to say.
