12 volt dryer motor

Hello all,

I came across a work space where I can wrap and mainly dry my rods dust and free of flies! But the catch is there are no electrical outlets for my drying motors. So, are there any vendors here or anyone know of a source where I can get my hands on a few 12v dryer motors about 6-9 RPM? I have seen a few listed on @#$%&, but shipped from China. I don't want to wait for the slow boat.

Thanks!!

Ricardo

There are several battery powered units on the US market used for turning flies that have heavy head coatings. These could certainly suffice as a drying motor for rods.

Ricardo,
If you are in the states, I can ship a 7 rpm 24 volt DC motor in the morning if you wish. Just take two 12 volt batteries, hook them in series for the 24 volts.

Or, if you have a 24 volt cordless drill motor battery in good condition, you can use that. If you use batteries, just make sure that the batteries have enough capacity to complete a drying cycle.

I have used these 7 rpm for a lot of dryers. Send me your e-mail and we can make the deal. I just have the extra motor that I have no current plans for. This was the last motor that I had on hand.

p.s. these motors did come from China and it was about a 4-5 week delivery time.

Flex Coat used to offer a battery powered dryer, may still do.

Well I rechecked on Amazon and found some 12v motors/ Didn't see them the last time I checked, so i did a better search this time. Anyways they are on the slow boat from China. When I get them wired up and running I will re-post any +/- results.

Thank you for the replies and ideas.

Yes, we still make a 7 rpm battery operated motor for finishing and curing rods. It takes 4 AA batteries which last a long time.

Give us a call and we would be glad to help you. 512-858-7742
