Madeira rayon and CP

I've never been a fan of using materials not designed for rodbuilding, but in an effort to match the dark green metallic of Rodgeeks, I bought some Madeira rayon, which is a good color match. However, when Flex Coat CP was applied, it darkened and stayed dark on drying. I must have the wrong Madeira? Can someone tell me what Madeira thread specs I should look for to get a thread which is compatible with cp, that stays its original color after the cp dries? thanks,

Madeira Polyneon 40 wt. is most often used in our craft. It usually pops back close to the spool color.
