I've never been a fan of using materials not designed for rodbuilding, but in an effort to match the dark green metallic of Rodgeeks, I bought some Madeira rayon, which is a good color match. However, when Flex Coat CP was applied, it darkened and stayed dark on drying. I must have the wrong Madeira? Can someone tell me what Madeira thread specs I should look for to get a thread which is compatible with cp, that stays its original color after the cp dries? thanks, Re: Madeira rayon and CP

Madeira Polyneon 40 wt. is most often used in our craft. It usually pops back close to the spool color. Re: Madeira rayon and CP
