I finished wrapping a rod last night and when I took out my LS2000 (purchased a couple of years ago) I noticed that the hardener component had turned yellowis brown. I had used a chestnut color thread and didn't think a little brown discoloration of the thread finish would hurt. It dried normally. I wonder if it will continue to turn dark after being applied and has anyone seen this? Re: LS2000(Old Formula)

It is perfectly okay to use it. The discoloration of the hardener is frustrating but quite normal. Unless you are working with very light colored threads on a white blank where you are coating an inscription area, you will never notice it. If you need an absolute water white clear coating, then PermaGloss is your best best - it will never turn. LS Supreme, due to its use of a different hardener, only turns very slightly. It is the clearest and truest color epoxy I have yet run across. I just used it on a white rod with white threads and cannot see any discoloration. ...................
