Fuji LB Single Foot

I think it was called LB. Did Fuji stop making these? They were a heavy framed single foot that I believe was rated to 30#.

Not sure what a Fuji LB guide is, did not find it in the Anglers Resource catalog. Do you mean Fuji LDB guides?

Nope...they aren't in the AR catalog...which is why I figured they had stopped manufacturing them(or at the very least, stopped importing them).

Hopefully Jim Ising will chime in.

Answered my own question I believe. I had been Googling "LB" single foot Fuji...I finally Googled "LBSG" and came up with something. The poster on another forum said they had been discontinued. I have a picture in the link below (picture only...not a link to another forum).

EDIT: That link has the name of another forum as the link. Sorry, I don't know how to change it. But it takes you to a blank page with only the pic on it. Hope that's ok, Tom. Otherwise, my apologies.

Here's another shot...it's from @#$%& so hopefully the link won't show some other fishing site.

OK...so to keep from starting another thread...what about the DB Power Ovals? I don't see that on the Angler's Research site either. Are they still around?

Dear Lord...Fuji...what's up? Can't find the Power Ovals (that may just be my own fault), no more LBs...no RSGs (not that you need those often, but I used to go through a few dozen a year).

I wouldn't mind the LDBs, but they stop at size 6. I typically would need up to 10s & maybe 12s.

Yes,they were discontinued years ago. Sales weren't what they had hoped for. The USG guides followed shortly thereafter preceding the arrival of the newer HB series guides.

It seems that heavy duty single foot guides are very difficult to find now days. Supply and demand. People that build heavy duty rods use heavy duty double foot guides. I have 8 Fuji BLDBAGs that look like size 5.5 or 5. If you need them let me know. I also have a Fuji HB 25 and a HB 10 that I will never use.

I'll be honest, Jim. I don't know.

Jim, Back in 1997 Clemens had them listed as Hardloy single foot boat rod guides (BLBLG) and his stock numbers were 03-33-08,10,12,16.The last two number represented the size.
Up until a few years ago I was getting them from Versitex.
