NFC PR 704-2(HM) vs StCroix 5S70MF2-G vs St.Croix 5S70MF2-B

Hi all,
I'm looking to build myself a new rod for light jigging and I want the most sensitive 2 pieces blank on the market. Must be a two pieces rod for transportation reasons altough I know it won't match a one piece rod in performance. I will use it for Zander, Pike, Perch and other predators from european waters but you may also think in bass and walleye fishing terms when recommending something which will do the best job. I will use it with 7-14 grams jigg heads + 7-10 cm soft plastics .
I am open to other sugestions if you happen know another blank which is meeting these requirements : 7' long, cw 3/16-5/8, 2 piece , medium power, light and super sensitive . I would prefer slate or black mate finish .
Thank you all in advance for your opinions

you might want to consider the weight of the plastics you intend to use on the jig heads when calculating the lure and line weight of blank you want choose to use.

Carol,
All things being equal, these two piece rods will give you the same performance as the one piece version.

I have ;) I fished some one piece rods from G.Loomis , NFC, St. Croix with same specifications so I know what to expect in this respect (lure handeling - size & weight - ) . Unfortunately I didn't have the oportunity to feel those 2 piece blanks I'm asking about (side by side). Thank you for your thoughts anyway.

Nice to know that but since there always was a difference between those 2 brands I was curious which one other builders would prefer regardless of the money. :)

They were developed for different things, our walleye, your zander was a fish well known in the development of St. Croix rods, that would be my choice. the NFC blank is more tied to saltwater fishing.
