I have a friend that broke the tightening mechanism on a favorite rods of his, the part that holds down the front of the reel. Does anyone know where I can but a replacement?

Hello Chuck.

You might want to check with Jann's Netcraft, I know they sell the whole handles, maybe they can hook you up.

Tight Wraps & Tighter Lines.

you also could go to a local thrift store or good will and pick up a rod for a couple bucks and cannibalize it for parts and the skip and screw
