Just joined the site yesterday, been a viewer for many years but due to work and traveling for the past 15 years I could not commit to following any posts, some of the places I had the pleasure of staying didn't have any type of services at all.
Anyway I have a question. I have half a dozen tip tops here that are LTCPLT06, what material are they, the insert looks like SIC inserts but not sure. I am using them on an ultra light rod Thanks for any help and its great to be part of the forum at last, having just retired I can now be a daily visitor. Bob Re: Mystery tip top

They are a Batson Forecast light tip top with a hard 'H' size 6 ring. The ring material is a type of aluminum oxide. The frame is TiCh coated. They have been discontinued.

Hello Bob.
I can't find a LTCPLT but the LTCP is a Forecast #, in the 2014 catalogue the 3 models I found are, LTCPNT, LTCPUT, LTCPAT. Double check with Batson. Good Job Norman!! Hope that helps.
