Hey Guys I am new here. I am completely new to rod building and have watched just about every video I can find on it (at least it seems like it).
I am ready to take the plunge into rod building and was looking for advice on starting gear. I am willing to invest in gear that will enhance my success and quality. I know that spending a fortune on gear will never replace experience but I also know it can help tremendously. Early on I think I will just be making a rods for myself and family but I would like to expand it out into a revenue stream Something I might be able to carry into retirement (in 30 years lol). Focus on trolling rods will likely be my starting point as its a relative open market here in Maine and the one I have the most experience in. I look forward to reading your responses and thanks for the help. PS. I am fully aware of the tax implications and such. Re: Looking to get started
