Spoiler alert here....that gorgeous titanium finish is no more.....they changed the color a bit. Little darker with a spot of green in it. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/30/2017 06:20AM by Jon Salter. Re: MHX HM and RS Eternity

Jon, I initially thought the Immortal blank I received about a month ago was the same color as the other two Immortal blanks I built on last year. The one I received recently is a lighter color, more silver than the last years blanks.
Either way, you're right, there was a color change. Still a gorgeous color in my book. Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 01/30/2017 02:18AM by David Baylor. Re: MHX HM and RS Eternity

Somehow we lost the discussion of the Eternity. One thing not mentioned was the nano feature of the Eternity II blanks. If it does as it's supposed to, and toughens the blank, at the same action and power it has an advantage, doesn't it? Re: MHX HM and RS Eternity

I felt even the previous blue Eternity was a nicer blank that Mhx high mod. It just felt more lively in my hands. I don't consider the Mhx high mod a top tier blank personally. Not dead by any means, but the Phenix Umbx, Point Blank, and Nfc IM I have offer better feel a feedback imo. I can only imagine the new Eternity being better than the previous, especially if Nfc is somehow involved which is only speculation on my part. I believe all the blanks I mentioned have better strength to weight ratios as well. Obviously that varies from model to model. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
