I searched around and didn't find much talk about these. I just built a light swimbait rod using them and they seem like nice guides overall.

Anyone have any reviews, positive or negative, regarding them? I know the Fujis reign supreme for most guys, just looking at different options.

I hope they have some at the ICRBE to check out and buy. Sounds like quality guides for a good price.

I have used about 40 complete sets for student's rods in classes. They are holding up well thus far and the guide feet are prepped so well little or no guide prep is needed. As they are new I can't comment on the long term durability but first look they seem to be very nice guides

We figured we would give some builders the opportunity to chime in first. The CRB guide sets have been very well received so far, Todd has been using 3-4 rods set up with them for about 6 month fishing in mosquito lagoon and has had great success.

I'm on my third set of them and I've been happy with how they turn out.

I was not aware they were such a new product. Thanks for the replies guys.

I noticed that these CRB guides are only sold as kits. However, I think most rod builders do not like to buy guide kits because of the lack of versatility. These CRB guides might sell better if also offered individually in various sizes. What happens if you need to replace a broken guide?

I had wondered that myself. So far the packs I've bought have fit on the rods nicely (I've actually had a couple left over on two of them).

Maybe once they take hold, more options will be offered hopefully.
