Spacing Patterns on Cross Wraps

I am working on a rod and trying to figure out how to wrap a "closed pattern". Is there a secrete to getting the spacing right in order to close the pattern? I want to double the pattern in the space I am working in and still keep the pattern square. If I just reduce the distance between the centers, then I end up having a mashed diamond instead of a square.
Any help will be appreciated Sam Ledbetter Re: Spacing Patterns on Cross Wraps

Billy Vivona's book does a great job explaining spacing on DEC Wraps. I bought it a couple of years ago at the expo. He usually attends and has a booth with the NERBS group, but last year they weren't there. Not sure why. Hope to see Billy and the rest of the NERBS there this year as they always had a great booth and did great demonstrations. Re: Spacing Patterns on Cross Wraps
