Twitching for coho

Hi folks, I'm curious if anyone on this forum twitches for coho in the Northwest and if so what's a good 2 piece blank that's not over 9' and sensitive enough to feel the bit while the line is loose? If that's even possible!

Rogue SH7952 steelhead blank. You don't want a long rod, it makes it harder the make a correct presentation, longer rods magnify the movement and distance of the twitch. There is a much better selection in one piece blanks.
Coho aren't into finesse, they hammer things.
Angler's Workshop has Rogue blanks.

Hey thanks!
I agree on that they are better for casting and such but there heavier and where I usually fish there are trees and such in the way. Just a lot easier to do with a shorter pole.

Do a lot of walking through brushy areas so that would be the reason for the two piece.

You don't feel the bit when you have slack line, you watch the line to see a twitch in it, and then set the hook.

RainShadow RX7 IST1084F, 9’ 2-Piece 8-12lb Mod-Fast and Medium Power - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]
RainShadow HS1021F, 8’6” 2-Piece 8-15lb XF and Medium power - [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com]

Also from North Fork Composites we’d recommend ST804-2 IM and HS761-2 IM

Since you’re in the Northwest, if you ever make it up to Sequim feel free to stop by the office and you can pull on some blanks. Many of our guys in the office live and breath fishing on the rivers on the WA peninsula.
