Hi Guys,
Still on the hunt for a blank to build a light surf rod on. I plan to toss pluggs and jigs 1/2oz - 1 1/2oz (2oz max) The two blanks im looking at are the MXH SU1085F and St Croix 2M90MHF2. Does anyone here have experience with either of these blanks and know if they would handle what im looking to toss? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/03/2016 07:38AM by Will Cooper. Re: Blank Info

Not to answer your question directly.....but I'd suggest you look at some steelhead blanks too. I have a HS1025F that has proven to be rather vesatile and would cast well within that range.
Just saying you have options outside the box. Russ in Hollywood, FL. Re: Blank Info

Take a look at the Lamiglas close out surf blanks posted above by Mudhole. The SSU108 ML2 looks like what you are looking for and at 75% off seems like a good deal.
