have used sharpie marker pens [ BLACK} but found out . " MARKS A LOT ' by " Avery" will do a better job. . darker an coat with one swipe for
me [ BLACK ] this is for the dark blue / black guides

You weren't stepping on toes, Bill! Years ago, Bill Stevens expressed concern w/ the "salts" in the Sharpie ink, and it's affect on SS guides, once ground/shaped. Fact or fiction, I don't know....?

I think the industrial grade Sharpie is ok on stainless. The permanent Sharpie is said to degrade stainless.

I have found ALL markers will bleed when coated with thread epoxy and can only assume “more worser” with PG or other similar “hot” coatings.
