I need to replace a guide on a friends musky rod, they are fuji hardloy according to the description on the web for the bps pete mania rod. it is the first guide, I measured the next 2, they measured .321 and .265 or so, just guessing the are 6's and 8's, so any ideas for the broken guide? 10 or 12

thanks for the insight.

Are the guide measurements ID or OD? Since this is a musky rod, which usually uses a larger reel, I would assume it is a size 12 guide which is higher than a size 10. If you have some Fuji hardly guides on hand you can get a good idea of the size used by checking the guide foot print on the rod. FYI, Fuji has discontinued the hardloy guides, but I assume most suppliers still have some in stock.

the measurements were the ID of the guides they are all double foot guides, i am goint to try to get the smashed one back to a reasonable look to possibly measure the ID of the frame. but probably will see who still has any in stock in black double foot then go from there. thank you for the help

Since they are IDs probably 10 and 8s, so a 12 or 16 is what you probably need. If you can not find any I am pretty sure I have some. if you need them just E-mail me and I can send you some.

If they don't, put your request on the buy-sell page here. One of the guys is bound to have one.
