Renzetti Rod Lathe

Just curious why no one sells Renzetti Rod Lathes besides Renzetti?

I also tie flies on a Renzetti and can buy a vise at several retailers.

Would be nice to actually go in a store and see one or get package deals instead of buying piece parts.

Good question. I bought mine many years ago through Dale Clemens. It was called a Clemens lathe, but is actually a Renzetti. Quality is top notch and there isn't anything cheap about them. And, like you, I can't recall seeing them anywhere lately except Renzetti's website. I recall at one time, maybe still, folks were having their Renzetti lathes anodized various colors which made a very attractive machine in addition to a top quality product.

Eric,
I expect that Renzetti does not want any middle man to soak up any profit margin from the lathe.

Not enough volume. Not enough margin for two points of sale.
