Has any of you out there ever used Art Resin to finish a rod build? I've used it to finish lures and it works great and is non yellowing.
I'm thinking about trying it on a white blank but I want to get your comments first.

I have not used it, however, there are many possibilities for good thread coatings provided they fulfill the requirements involved. If the product is reasonably flexible, hard enough to ward off most bumps and scrapes, impervious to the sort of UV and moisture fishing rods can be expected to encounter and the ease of use and cost appeal to you, no reason at all not to give it a try.

I believe you will find the Art Resin when fully cured is NOT flexible. This may then crack in places where a rod flexes.
