From a 2010 posting:
XSB802.75 TC 6'8" 1 6-15lb 3/16-5/8oz 0.465 .068/5.0 X-Fast 1.43 oz Finesse spin /tubes / jig worms / dock skipping $97.13 So, this is a blank that is 6'8 inches long, rated for 6-15 lb line, with a lure weight of 3/16th to 5/8th oz, a butt size of .465 inches and a tip size of 5.0/64th of an inch. The blank weight is 1.43 oz with the intended use to use tubes, jig worms and dock skipping. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ p.s. The RX8 blanks like this one are really very nice well made blanks and are generally lighter in physical weight than many other rod blanks by other manufacturers. In today's blanks the Batson revelation blank - REV S6'8"MXF blank would be similar. In the Batson Immortal line, it would be the IMMS68MXF blank. ===================== In the MHX line - the MHX MB782 would be similar. Or, in the high modulus version: [www.mudhole.com] Personally, if I were building the rod, I would use one of the Batson blanks. Be safe Re: Which MHX blank is closest to Rainshadow XSB802.75?

The Immortal blanks are fantastic. I've built on two of them, both being casting rods. One on an IMMC72MH, and my most recent build on an IMMC73ML. I absolutely love both of the rods I built on them. If price isn't your major reason for considering an MHX blank, I'd go with the Immortal blanks from Batson. You will not be disappointed.
Awesome blanks !!!! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
