L S Supreme Question

I was recently doing some practice marbling so I was using up old epoxy that I had. I had 2 small bottles of LS Supreme that I bought a long time ago and never opened. When I mixed the epoxy it became very thin almost like water. Even using a very small amount it would drip from the rod. I checked and double checked to make sure I had mixed the right amounts. Even mixed a second batch with the same results. I have used old epoxy before and it may turn out cloudy or yellow but it has always mixed and hardened normally.
Has any one experienced anything like this with LS Supreme? Re: L S Supreme Question

If it was the original LS Supreme, that was a very thin epoxy.
The two more recent incarnations are standard and hi-build, the former being about like most any high build and the latter being exceptionally thick. .............. Re: L S Supreme Question

I guess you mean ( while turning ) if it drips while turning IF you can make it turn faster should hold it
If that does not work Stop the turner Take the drips off with your brush Turn again should be alright If not take more off Bill - willierods.com Re: L S Supreme Question

It must have been the original because it was very thin. The problem wasn't really the drips, it was so thin that I could not use it for marbling. All the colors just ran together and merged into a very ugly color. Re: L S Supreme Question

Maybe you should have let it sit a while and set up so it was thicker Bill - willierods.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
