I broke the tip section in half on my St. Croix Legend Ultra 10 wt. 3 pc. rod. Can I get a replacement section or do I just convert it into a 14 wt rod? Thanks! Re: New tip section for St. Croix

You need to phone St. Croix (use their link on this page for their contact information) and tell them what happened. In order to fit a new tip section they will need to have you return the entire rod. They will supply the details once you contact them. Even if you have to pay for a new tip section, it will be very reasonable. ................. Re: New tip section for St. Croix

I just went through the same tragedy....snapped my SCIV 3 wt. Called St Croix and sent it back. You must send the whole rod so that they can ensure a proper fit of the replacement section. Mine did not make it back from St.Croix...Lost is transit...they quickly provided a complete replacement kit (they did forget to include a stripper). You will have no problems. jim Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
