Removing dried epoxy from EVA

I had some epoxy (the one used for gluing components) paste run and drying up on Eva foam grip. What is the best way to clean it up ? Is it ok to finely sand the Eva ?

Sanding will be fine. Use a sanding block so you remove the hardened epoxy and surrounding EVA equally.

If you would try to pull off the epoxy, you will take chunks of EVA too.

If you can put it on a FAST turner and sand this will be better
If not hand sand carrefully around the area wher the epoxy is that will also work Working carrefully
Masking any areas where you don't want any scratches
