KR Guide train recommendation

Bought a couple rod geeks blanks for inshore as well as some bass fishing at the ICRBE in february and I've been so busy I haven't even been able to look at them. I'm hoping that after iCast things will slow down enough to be able to take a weekend to get back to it and build. Got some of archie's cedar grips at the show as well so I just need to get them reel seats and the guide trains. The cedar grip is going to extend the length of the rod about 3-4" so looking in the ball park of 7'3-7'4 medium fast action. I'm planning to use the KLAG-H KR Spinning guides and have never used KR concept before. In fact I've only build a couple of spinning rods most have been casting. How many guides would you pros go with? I'm thinking reduction of 20, 12, 8 with 6's for runners but not 100% sure. Need to be able to pass a 20lb fluorocarbon leader comfortably with an FG Knot, also if you could point me in the right direction for the appropriate matching tip top I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for y'alls time!!! Has been over a year since I've had the time to build and ready to get back at it. Hoping to take these to another level aesthetically.

Have you checked out the kr gps from Anglers resource?

[anglersresource.net]

Ive done a couple rods with high framed match guides using this concept and they came out real good. I just ordered some fuji guides for my first true kr build. Gonna try the reduction sizes that the gps gave me and go from there. It will be 16h 8 h 5.5m And 5's to the tip

Matt

Check out pages 4 and 46 of the Fuji catalog, easily accessed under the catalog button on the Anglers Resource web page. Click on it on the left margin.
