I have done a couple of carbon fiber grabs as experiments and they have not turn out as nice as the stuff in the video.
Is there some kind of trick to getting it from not to skinning over so fast? Temperature? I am using soft water. Or am I just not fast enough? See you on the water, Doug Captain Paddlefoot Re: Magic marbling

Feel free to give me a shout this evening and I'll help troubleshoot the mad-swirl. 502.439.4123.
There could be a number of things happening. The bottles may not be shaken well. Even though it works in all water temps, it works better in some ranges. If it is too warm, it can cause it to skim quicker. What type of container are you using? I have one video on youtube with me and my daughter maddie. If you type in Mad-swirl you'll find it. I also have some videos on my facebook page at reed rods that may help out. I've also got some pictures on there of some hybrid carbon fiber mad-swirl grips. It's hard to say what is causing it to skim without more information. You have about a 1 minute window to get your dip in once the paint is on the water. But it can vary with the temperature. What is wrong with the ones that you are doing? Take care, Jeremy Reed 502.439.4123 Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
