Flocked grips

I just posted a picture of a current rod I am working on. I shaped the cork, grips, flocked them and glued them and the reel seat to the blank, It is a Lamiglas GLB 72 1H that Dick Posey sent me years ago. I am using Fuji Gold SIC boat guides on it and plan to do the wraps with light and dark blue with a little metallic trim. Mildrum gold roller tip. Making this one for myself, so I am going to keep it fairly simple. Now that I know how to post pictures, I will post one when it is done. Re: Flocked grips

That's a beautiful shade of blue Randolph, and one aspect of rodbuilding I've yet to do but always wanted to try. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
