Med to heavy duty Spinning real seat

I am building a couple 30-50 pound blanks for use with spinning reels and I am having a helluva time figuring out the reel seat portion of the build.
Can you use the heavy duty reel seats like the aluminum ones for spinning reels? Or is there a source for heavy duty spinning reel seats?

You can use those same seats for spinning reel if you like. Many commercial stand up and heavy boat rods designed for spinning tackle do just that.

Some companies make a heavy duty graphite reel seat. Check the suppliers on the sponsor list. Best, MH

The Fuji DPSD reel seat looks much like the big aluminum seats, but it is made with the materials your accustomed to.
