Does anyone know if the water based Casons Crystal Clear CP is still available anywhere? Or perhaps a fellow rod builder might be willing to part with a bottle out of his/her secret stash! I'm running low and can't seem to find any at my usual suppliers.
Thanks Rog Re: Casons CP

I have quite a few large and small bottles ( maybe 30+) of both the water and solvent based formulas. Note..these are an older formula as I believe Bill updated them slightly some time after the original product release.
I will gladly pass these on to other rodbuilders who email me and we can work out the shipping. click my name here to get my email address and please do not make any requests on this thread here. Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Re: Casons CP

I have tried it and was not impressed with the color retention I am used to getting with Trondak or Flex Coat, or even my own CP. Re: Casons CP

If you do a search for the past year or so, contact info was given in a similar thread. At that time the product was still available. It may still be, or not. Re: Casons CP

I'm not sure why one would go to any special efforts to get that material. IMHO. I've NEVER had an issue with Flex Coat. But I have with Cason's. Re: Casons CP
