mixing finish coats

I ran out of Aftcote and need another coat of epoxy on some wraps. I have some Flexcoat. I think it will be okay to mix one on top of the other as the other is already dry but just wanted to check here in case somebody had trouble doing this with different epoxies. Thanks.

That should pose no problem.

John is right, it should pose no problem. If it were me, I would wait at least 1 week to make sure the first coat is completely cured though.

Try mixing just a little and use it on one wrap
I really don't think it is nessary to wait a week Then you should scoff the finish to get a bond

Because epoxy cures by chemical reaction, not drying by evaporative action, you can apply a second coat/application as soon as the first has firmly set. This might only be a few hours in some cases.
