Hello everyone
New member first post. I would like to find a good resource for reel seat hard ware without the insert. Can anyone make suggestion?

I have read through a lot of post and find this forum to be one of the best.

We have "skeleton" seats in Cast, Fly, and Spin.
Give us a holler with your needs.

Best wishes,

Many manufacturers make, and many of the suppliers on the left carry reel seat skeletons.

Thanks for the replies. I am sorry I was not more informative about my request. I am looking for skeleton real seats that are metal. Cast, spin and fly. that are not too pricey. I am experimenting with custom inserts and may mess up a few. I could even make do with some used ones.

Ed,
I think that the selection of metal casting and spinning skeletal reel seats is extremely limited or perhaps non existent.

However there is a wide selection of graphite skeletal reel seats in all sizes and shapes.

There are a few Fly rod metal skeletal reel seats.

If you want, you can always take a metal full reel seat and use a band saw to cut the middle out of it to create a skeletal reel seat.

Thank you roger.
I believe this is the way I am going to go. Cutting up reel seats looks like the only option I have in the cheap. After I figure what I am doing then I can move up to something more expensive.
