Can't speak to that specific product, but in generally, a high build epoxy product can be applied either thinly or thickly. A lower build epoxy can't be applied heavily without sagging, dripping problems, even with rotation.

If the turner is going at a nice RPM a thin finish Can be put on heaver The speed helps to hold the finish on

For Prokote
High build set faster and it seems harder. Regular has longer pot life. And penetrate thread better. It also seems High build is more tolerant (with regular you need to be precise 50/50 and mix well, for me at ,easy 3 minutes, 4 better). The too work very well for me.
