Does anyone have copies of any of the following items they could scan and send to me?

1. Old Gudebrod catalogs or flyers and ads
2. Old Gudebrod thread color charts, pre-2000

Also, I have some older (vintage?) Gudebrod threads with stock numbers that I don't recognize and which are not listed on Gudebrod's more recent color charts. I'd like to know the official Gudebrod name for these colors and if they were made for some particular application. Any ideas?
1634 (sea green/blue dun like color)
1687 (black or dark navy)
1908 (teal like color)
1927 (hot pink)
3001 (very dark brown like very dark chocolate)
10697 (light brown)
10701 (brownish/black)
10882 (kind of a camel/gold)

All of these #'s were special dye batches made for a certain customer or transferred over from their silk thread color charts as trials.

As for all of the charts that were left, they were tossed when Wel-Tec closed down.All Gudebrod history books and old cat's were tossed as well.

They were left in cabinets when the contents of Wel-Tec was @#$%& off. I don't remember seeing them when I sorted through all of the items there.

Brad, you're a wealth of knowledge about Gudebrod. Thanks for your insights. I met you up in Royersford when i came up before the @#$%& at Wel-tec. I did manage to gather up a few of the recent catalogs out of the trash, but the numbering scheme did not include these numbers. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Thanks for the info on those colors that Ed listed. Over the years I've picked up a spool here and there and now have quite a few of those colors myself and have always wondered about their origin. I always assumed they were custom colors for specific bulk customer(s) or were trial colors sent out as samples for possible inclusion into the regular line-up.

It never occurred to me that some may have been transferred from their silk offerings. I guess I discounted that possibility assuming they would have just used the same color numbering system.
