not sure if it's okay to post this here or if it should be in the buy/sell section - tom, please move or delete if it belongs elsewhere.

Since I got rid of my lathe before I moved to MI (Detroit metro area), I am no longer able to turn certain lengths of grips.
I'm currently in need of a custom turned handle. I couldn't find any factory made grips that would work. This is what I'm looking for:
CG2 grade cork, 19” rear grip slightly contoured with an outside diameter of 1.057” / 26.86mm and inside diameter of .75” / 19mm.
OR if someone local is willing to allow me to visit their shop, I can bring the blank and cork already glued up and we can cut it up that way. Either way, I am willing to pay for time and shop supplies.
Contact me and we can work out the details.
Thanks!

If you have a drill You can turn cork grips That grip can be turned in 2 sections and then glued onto the blank The edges will have to be as streight as you can make them and when glued together a clamp to hold them together also helps

Dry Fit before glueing

my lath is similar to the flex coat drill lath and anything over say 8 - or so is done in two sections
Often I glue together and then when dry hand sand with a block to keep it all level
The seem will not be seen if done correctly and clamped together
easy on the glue little is needed if you use Rod Bond just a thin coat
