We had a successful gathering on 3/23/15 at Lynn Williams' shop. We had 8 present for the day and had presentations on crosswraps, carbon fiber grips, 10xd crankbait blank selection and comparison, and a presentation on lathes.

Everyone there walked away with something. Everyone there received microwave guides from American Tackle. Also, American tackle sent a new blank designed for the large 10xd crankbait, and sent stickers and a catalog with their products. Rod Geeks sent blanks and t-shirts, stickers, and a really nice folder with Rod Geek blank information inside. The finish on these blanks are second to none. Jerry Cook sent a flex coat kit, and Lynn Williams gave out some of his items from backlash tools.

We are still a small group, but we had a ton of information shared. Several builders in the group have been around rod building for a good while, so it's always great to get to pick their brains. We may have a Fall/Winter event, or we may just wait until mid-March of next year to have another. Once we have things finalized, I will again post information.
