Are there any tricks to shapping latex-impregnated cork or will sandpaper work just fine. I have used this type of cork inplace of a butt cap and need to fine tune the match with the rest of the cork handle. Thank you Scott Re: latex-impregnated cork

I'm not sure I know what latex-impregnated cork is. If you are talking about the burl or rubberized cord out there then sandpaper will work fine. I like to use the drywall sanding screen as it doesn't load up as bad. You can get it at any home hardware supply store. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
