I have some Rainshadow blanks and I wanted to get some opinions as to what type of Rod's they would be best suited for. I have the following
RX 7 SW967
RX 6 RCLB70L
RX 6 RCLB70XL

I've had these for a while and the bug has bitten me to build them now after several years of them sitting around gathering dust!!!
Thanks in advance for any input.

Tommy

I think the SW967 is a swimbait blank. Seems well liked. I haven't used it.

The rclb are live bait blanks. Those I do use. They work well for trolling as well. I think the XL is perfect for 8kg class (17# test line) and each step up is about 5#'s...so 22# test for the L. Great value blanks IMHO. Good all purpose casting/trolling for kingfish/dolphin/sailfish/etc.

if you don't find a use for the rclb's I will take them off your hands! I agree they make great live bait blanks

RCLBs make very good jigging rods, lots of power for a surprisingly low weight.
SW967 is quite versatile. here's some info
