First try at a tuna cord rear grip with turkshead knot, Alps seat, and x flocked eva fore grip. All on a Batson RCLB79ML.

This maybe a little off topic, so please excuse me for that.

I've never fished with a rear grip as shown in the attached pictures. Are they comfortable to hang onto for long periods of time? I've never seen one up close or held one, but aren't they a little rough on the hands?
