If you encounter problems getting it to work under win 7/8, check the faq and if necessary contact David Boyle directly. Make sure to check the faq first.

Once you get it up and running, it's helpful to remember that the wrap area is a grid of 100x100, which can be thought of as percentages of actual area on your rod on closed wraps. Don't always think of it as 1 thread in the software must equal 1 thread on your rod (that tends to work better on open wraps).

Hi Paul,
John hit the nail on the head. I'm happy to help get it installed and give any advice on using vizwrap. It has a learning curve but is simple once you grasp the concepts. It is a useful tool that helps you visualise how wraps form, how they will look on your rod, and can give you the spacings for laying out your wraps.

Cheers
Dave Boyle
