I looked at video on the hogy Web site that shows him trolling tubes with a musky rod. Anyone have experience building a rod like that? If so what blank do you recommend? He was also using sinking fly line as his main line. Anyone have experience with that as well? Any input is greatly appreciated. Happy holidays! MH Re: muskey rod for trolling tubes

I'm very surprised... no response. honestly, I'm puzzled as well. I dug deeper on the website and saw his recommendation for rod, reel, line. I'm still open to any input. Thx MH Re: muskey rod for trolling tubes

I have trolled tubes for Stripers and use Seeker live bait blanks with stout butts and soft tips. That's about all I can offer.
