Will be building a 6'6" all around casting rod for offshore with a Daiwa lexa 400 going on it. Will fish anywhere from 10-20lbs of drag. Wanting to spiral wrap, should I use the lite or the heavy virtus guides.
Will be my first heavy spiral what size stripper and transition guides should I look at I'll be using size 10 running guides. Planning on building on a Batson RCKJB606-150 I think the lite guides will be fine. Anyone think I need to move to the RCKJB606-250 Will be throwing poppers less than 4oz and 2oz jig heads to cobia, Mahi and black fin tuna. Re: Virtus lite or heavy and thoughts on rod blanks

You will be fine with the virtus lites. They are truly the best guide. Mot's Custom Rods and Reels Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
