Hi guys,

Just wanted to pass on that a fellow angler I know took the Mudhole rod building course here and said it was worth every penny.

He and his friend are now addicted.

Way to go!

I may have to take one to see whats involved.

Thank you Mudhole for making more people interested in the craft here locally. Would be great to see an emerging builder base in this area!

Thanks Guys! We take great pride in not just providing the craft with great products, pricing and service but in growing the craft. Mud Hole puts on about 15 basic rod building classes a year around the USA teaching an average of about 40 students per class - that's 600 new rod builders per year in our classes. These classes combined with the thousands of FREE Rod Building DVD will ship out yearly, a large YouTude Channel with on demand videos How-To videos and other free educational material we provide helps to grow the craft for the betterment of all.

Additionally, Mud Hole has taking rod building education to the larger TV audience by teaching rod building through our sponsorship of Larry Dahlberg (Hunt for Big Fish), Henry Waszczuk (Fishing the Flats) where the hoists spend some time each show educating the audience about rod building, tackle crafting and the benefits of fishing custom rods. In 2015 Mud Hole is launching its largest TV campaign yet! In 2015 Mud Hole is partnering with WFN to bring "Do-It Yourself Mondays" to the WFN TV audience where various WFN hoist will feature a DIY tackle crafting segment each Monday next year.

On the professional tournament side - Mud Hole is the primary sponsor of BASS Elite Pro Brandon Lester and FLW Pro John Cox - both of whom build the customer rods they fish! They are not just spokespersons, they are rod builders who understand rod building and help spread the "good word" about rod building on the tournament trails, to the tournament fans and in the articles written about them.

Our classes, TV shows, prostaff and other education materials are good, but the foundation of any future growth are the kids. To that end, Mud Hole also has a large education program for schools, club and scouts that impacts thousands of students around the USA yearly. Actually, the Mud Hole education program team just returned from the FFA National Convention where they exposed the 60,000 participants to rod building! This weekend, the Mud Hole education team is teaching 50 local high school fishing club members (and some parents) rod building at the local high school. In 2014 Mud Hole was a title sponsor of the BASS High School Fishing tournament and in 2015 Mud Hole will expand our high school fishing program sponsorship into the FLW High School Tournament Trail as well.

Thanks again for the support.
