Has anyone used these grips for a build? Looking at weight comparison to eva. Any positives or negative would be appreciated. I would specifically using these on a bass rod.
Thanks

I can't get over the big WINN logo.

The logo is overbearing they need to make a but cap with it on the bottem,
A couple designs are nice but most look like a golf club or tennis racket.
it needs to look like it belongs on a rod.

If the grips are the same material as the golf grips, then I believe EVA would be lighter. Golf grips hold up well, but I wouldn't want that large WINN logo on a rod I made, even for myself.

I agree concerning the logo. I've built one rod with the Winn grips. It was for my dad who is an avid golfer and an avid fisherman. I do like the the feel of them, very comfortable to cast, but I don't care for the logo.

I was at FTU the other day, and I was thinking the new Winn grips seemed to be lighter than EVA

It is my understanding that they are redesigning the logo based upon feedback from crafters, like us. It will be smaller, but I'm not sure when they will be out.

The wetter they get, the sticker they get.. Feel is awesome and grips fit tight.

I believe they are lighter than EVA, not sure how well they are going to hold up over time. I have built 2 rods with them and will be putting them to the test next spring

I too have a problem with the logo and won't use them for that reason. If there is any, regardless of size it won't be on one of my builds. If they are selling grips why should they care. It's not like the end user of the rod is going to buy them

Anyone know if they will match up with the AMTAK Aero Comfort reel seats.
