Wondering if there are any builder on here who remember off the top of their head, or who have the info available to share. Looking for the tip sizes on the WRI line up, particularly the fusion, fusion mag, inferno, and nail. Also, in regards to the butt sections of these rods, did they really make different butt sections, or are they all the same? And if there is a difference, how do you even tell? Apparently the inferno butt and nail butt are the same? and the fusion and fusion mag are the same?
Thank you Re: WRI Blank Info

IIRC the tip size was a 10 on the Fusion and Mag, the inferno and Nail were 12 but it has been a few years since I built on any. I can check my records and should have the exact sizes. As to the butts they were supposedly different. Tommy told me the difference was in the material/composition they used in the butt sections they would all physically fit on any of the blanks. I don't think that many people would be able to notice the differnce in them casting them. I have personally thrown a Fusion with the mag butt and Mag tip section with the Fusion butt and a Inferno with both it's butt and one from a nail and could not tell a differnce in any of them. Thank you Ed. That is very helpful. I have two inferno butts and two fusion butts, well, one is a fusion mag from what I'm told. Anyways, the tip on my fusion is about a 10, and I bought a rod that is supposed to be a fusion mag, and it came with an extra inferno butt. However, the tip is the same size as my inferno. Looks like they're size 11 tips put on it, when I digitially measure them. If you have any actually product info on them that you could verify I'd appreciate it greatly. Seems info on these rods is hard to find. But they're great rods. Re: WRI Blank Info

You also could drop Ryan White a line he used to sell them ... since he's not a sponsor here I'm reluctant to give out his business info Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
