Interesting ... the model number suggests that it's a Pac Bay Steelhead blank and not a Rainshadow spey blank.

I am going too build it ( for myself ) for Salmon fishing with a long handle and a fighting butt built into the end of the blank. Not a detachable

If I remember right the last salmon/steelhead Rainforest blanks I was able to get was over a year ago. They were a definite step up from the Tradition series.

weighed it this morning...tipped the scales at 4 oz.
The only thing I wasn't pleased with is the scuff marks in the finish from the pieces
rubbing against each other in the plastic bag it was shipped in.
Other than that I am looking forward to building this rod.
