Hello,
Recently ordered some pre-made cork grips and found metal (most likely lead) in them after some minor sanding. Is this just a case of the way things are now? Re: Metal in cork grips?

Adam,
No big deal. Likely a bit of shot from bird hunters. Pry it out, and fill the void with some filler. Resand and move on. Be safe Re: Metal in cork grips?

i have never found any metal in cork. Agree with Roger. Good looking cork, put tru oil or some other finish on it to enhance the "grain." Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
